Uzma Bukhari visits 365 News, praises editorial policy and India-Pakistan coverage

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari visited the offices of 365 News and Daily Times, where she appreciated the network’s balanced editorial stance and responsible coverage of Pakistan-India tensions.
She was welcomed by Chief Operating Officer Mudassar Iqbal, Vice President and Senior Anchor Muneeb Farooq, and Executive Director News & Current Affairs Muhammad Usman. During the visit, she toured various departments of the organisation.
Uzma Bukhari emphasised that protecting the rights of media workers and raising their voice is her key mission. She highlighted that under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s leadership, the Punjab government has taken historic steps for the welfare of journalists over the past year.
She stated that truthful and fact-based journalism is the cornerstone of media ethics and that journalists who uphold these values deserve recognition and respect. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to solving journalists’ problems, ensuring their security, and providing them with necessary resources.
